That version of Many Faces was rated about 2100 on CGOS-19:

http://cgos.boardspace.net/19x19/bayes.html (in 2008 the versions are named
mfgo-date. I don't remember exactly when Cotsen was exactly, but the Sept
13th 2008 version was rated 2112. On the same list, the current version is
rated 2511, so it is at least two stones stronger. My current names just
use version numbers, so mfgo-626 is the latest I've tested on CGOS.

The Beta version of MFGO 12 lost 3 times to 3 kyu, beat a 4 kyu, and beat a
5 kyu in the 2008 Cotsen Go Tournament.

An early version of Many Faces of Go 12 was entered in the Cotsen Tournament
2008. I think the results were posted, will have to search for them.

Did any bot already ever participate in an official rated real-world
tournament? (Preferrably European, but information about others is
welcome as well!)

I have heard that one bot (Leela?) was already supposed to participate
in a German tournament very recently, unfortunately I can't find the
details and maybe I remember it wrong. I also talked about computer
participation on tournaments with Ales Cieply some time ago and there
were some problematic points wrt. EGF tournament regulations,
unfortunately I don't remember them clearly anymore either... :-(

  Thanks for any insights,
