I agree 100%. 

Unfortunately we (all of us, I guess) all have few time
for go programming. The most crazy idea to invest that time
in is yet another file format. Personally, I won't do 
anything against sgf. I just expect that the XML idea 
fails. If it doesn't, that may be a problem in a few years.
