But then you simply don't use the 'white wins draw' setting.
Komi/roundoff can be set at the start of the game (or maybe even
compiled in) so I still don't see a problem with Lukasz' approach.
I agree that it is more elegant to refine the scale to allow for
fractional scores, but I'm not interested in that. The reason I
responded was the word 'almost' from which I (mistakenly) got the
impression that you were hinting at something interesting that might
reveal a fundamental flaw...
