mac versus pc versus unixes... ?

i think that although windows is the dominant
OS at the consumer level, it clearly fails
at any level above that (i'd argue even
at the workplace level).  what irritates me
is not that they have market share, but
that they intentionally engage in illegal
and unethical practices in order to try to
*prevent* competition.
