The next version of the KGS server is to be released soon. It is now
undergoing beta tests. I have been asked to run a test bot tournament
on it; and I invite your help with this.

The details of the tournament are at
https://www.gokgs.com/tournInfo.jsp?id=222
They are:
   Five-round Swiss
   9x9 boards
   Chinese rules, with 7.5 komi
Absolute time of three minutes each
Start at 08:00 UTC tomorrow (Friday) morning - start of office work in
western Europe.

To enter, follow the instructions at
http://www.weddslist.com/kgs/how/index.html as usual, but note these
differences, so as to work with the new server:
   1.) connect to goserver.gokgs.com (instead of goserver.igoweb.org)
2.) You will need to use the new version of kgsGtp.jar, which
        you can download from http://www.gokgs.com/download.xhtml

These time limits are very fast. No-one cares how badly your bots play,
the idea is to test various aspects of the server and the new
kgsGtp.jar. If your bots misbehave, by making illegal moves,
disconnecting at random, abusing the protocol, and arguing about the
status of groups, so much the better.

The more entrants the better, so please enter. Enter various versions
of the same bot if you like. If you can't be there yourself, never
mind, just leave your bot running.

Please enter your bots. I apologise for the short notice.
