GNU would have lost on time, server would not have invited GNU to
rejoin. However if GNU operator was present (s)he could have forced
disconnection and reconnection for GNU. Upon reconnecting it would have
joined game.
This actually happened in previous tournament.
MoGoBot joined game against IdiotBot late but KGS software did nothing
for IdiotBot and thus IdiotBot lost on time. However it would have lost
on play against that opponent 99.9%> sure anyway ;-)
So in this case ruling that IdiotBot won would have been disappointing.
I think fix is that in tournament games bot waits against 'escaped'
opponents until time has run out and not only 5 minutes.
