I assume that it is descended from the version of KCC Igo which was
shown to contain code plagiarised from HandTalk.

After the accusation of plagiarism, there was a version of KCC Igo
which, it was claimed, did not contain the plagiarised code. However
that version did contain anti-trace devices, making it hard to find out.

For all I know, the current version may no longer contain plagiarised
code. But I doubt we will ever know.

The program marketed in Japan as "Silver Igo" or "Ginsei Igo" contains
the engine from a version of KCC Igo. It is most unlikely that you will
find a copy of the current development version playing on KGS, or
anywhere else; there is no internet connection to North Korea.
