[computer-go] Proximity to last move

There are many books of good local go moves, but the strong players who make
programs just make patterns from their own knowledge.  Some of Many Faces'
patterns are attached.  These are local patterns, suggesting a move sequence
in response to the white move in the center.  It's a screen shot from the
pattern editor I use.  I have about 2000 8x8 patterns, and about 50,000
joseki patterns.
