Hi,
Can you tell me how two GTP engines play automated games in a go
tournament, assuming they are running on two different PCs connected by
a network? I still have no idea how it is done, and would like to test
before the tournament.
twogtp.pike seems to be designed to do that. As far as I have understood
the documentation, it expects executable programs on the command line.
Remote shell would be a possibility, but it does not look convenient.
netgtp and gtpserver seem to be better. Also, gtpdisplay can be used as
a GUI.
Is it how tournaments are run? Is there a server computer to host
twogtp, or does it have to run on one of the machines?
Thanks to anyone who can provide information.
Rémi
