Firstly, thanks Nick for running the tournament and producing that report.
Both the 11-hour limits 9x9 and the lightening sound like a lot of fun
and are excellent motivation for me to work on making my bot better.

I suspect the problem at the end of the Fomalhaut Weakbot game was caused
by Fomalhaut.  Not only do I claim the record for declaring dead the group
with the highest number of eyes, but it was my own group!

Seriously, I have an intermittent bug which is proving a pain to track down.
Probably the best fix in the short term is for me to remove support for the 
group
status command.
