I have written a brief report on the June KGS Computer Go Tournament. It
is at http://www.weddslist.com/kgs/past/15/index.html. Congratulations
to Aya and GNU Go, joint winners of the Formal division; and to GNU Go,
undefeated winner of the Open division!

I have settled the date of the July event. It will be on July 2nd, in
the European evening and American morning.

I like the idea of a slow 9x9 KGS online bot tournament, with 11 hours
each sudden death.. I will probably schedule it to have the rounds
start at about 24:00 UTC (GMT), so as to have them finish in the late
evening, when I am most likely to be at home and awake in case
adjudication is needed. I suggest a five-round Swiss, running from
Monday to Friday. Entry restrictions I think will be as for the "Open"
division.

I may also organise a blitz event, 9x9 with one minute each sudden
death. There's not much demand for this, but it will be very easy to
organise, so I might as well. I suggest a round every five minutes (so
as to leave me three minutes to resolve disputes), and 12 rounds.
