i think that this is a better idea. a move a day
may sound like a good idea, but it might be ten
months before we got to see the outcome of any
single game. it'd be a great benchmark for what
the current "best case" state of go computing
is, but it's probably a case of a bit of overkill.
after all, hopefully in ten months all of our
codebases can give 3-4 stones to our current
programs on equivalent hardware.
has anyone looked at the curve for the strength
of the state of the art over time? when is 1d
supposed to happen, anyway? :)
