isn't it the case that go is *not* a drawn game?
i.e. that there is a definite winning strategy
for either (but not both!) white or black given
a set komi, ruleset and handicap?

as they're 2-player zero-sum games, i think that
there must exist provably optimal strategies for
both opponents.  komi should rule out the
possibility of a draw.
