A basic client with the ability to observe and record game data for
later analysis or use in a Go opening book.

I remember seeing your server when it first came up :) it was a
wonderful success it seems so I'm glad.

Do you have the specs for the protocol? I'm not familiar with tcl, but
could learn it.
