It's not so bad yet Dave :) We've been going on only for a little  
while about it. But a wrong decision here will affect the project to  
the end of its existence.

I think it's good a discussion is going on, it means this list has  
interest in it. And this kind of lengthy discussion on what may seem  
a trivial point is probably quite normal. In Karl Fogel's book he  
mentioned that it's common that the 'softer' the subject the longer  
the arguments (or something along those lines).

I hope this mailing list will bear with these discussions a little  
while longer.
